ABOUT SUSAN BLACKABY

I have worked in educational publishing for over 40 years. On the clock, I write fiction and nonfiction titles for the K–8 crowd, including leveled readers, early chapter books, and hi-lo fiction and nonfiction. On my own time, I write poetry, picture books, and middle grade fiction–and a YA novel that limps along! I live in the Pacific Northwest on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River.
