• As a children’s author, T. James Belich has written multiple middle grade novels, a chapter book, and several picture book texts. As a playwright, James has written more than two dozen plays, including many children’s plays. His works have been performed across the United States and around the world (Pioneer Drama Service, Playscripts, Inc., Eldridge Plays, Green Room Press). His middle grade novel GRAVITY AND MONSTERS was a winner in the 2017 Revise & Resub contest (#RevPit) and his MG mystery JUSTICE AT THE ZOO was selected for Pitch Wars 2018.

    James is also a longtime actor whose favorite roles include Father Flynn in Doubt, a Parable and Sergeant Trotter in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. In addition, James holds a Ph.D. in solid state physics which led him to create the one-man physics show Schrödinger’s Cat Must Die!, which premiered at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. He also loves to travel, and his favorite destinations include Great Britain, Costa Rica, and Italy.  Originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota, James currently resides in Florida with his wife and son.
