ABOUT VONNIE WINSLOW CRIST
Vonnie Winslow Crist, BS Art-Ed, MS Professional Writing – Towson University, is a freelance writer & illustrator. Her Young Adult-friendly books include Murder on Marawa Prime, The Enchanted Dagger (fantasy novel, Compton Crook Award Finalist & Maryland Writers Association Book Award Winner), Owl Light (sf/f stories), The Greener Forest (fantasy stories), River of Stars, (poetry, Maryland State Arts Council Award-Winner), Essential Fables (poetry, Baltimore’s Artscape Award-Winner), Leprechaun Cake & Other Tales (children’s book, One of the Best Books of 1995 – PCRM), and multiple eBooks (Sideshow by the Sea, Assassins, and Bells, Echelon Press, etc.) Over 1,000 of her illos have been published, including her fantastical paintings on covers of FrostFire Worlds, Bards & Sages Quarterly, Outposts of Beyond, Spaceports & Spidersilk, Aoife’s Kiss, Illumen, Scifaikuest, and Harford’s Heart Magazine.
