Event topic: Self-Editing for Authors
For many authors, self editing can be a daunting task, from where to start, how to know when you're done, what to focus on in the manuscript, and when it's time (and where) to get help. This talk goes through all that to help writers polish up their all-important self editing skills.
Speaker: Sean Fletcher is an award-winning and Amazon bestselling author of middle grade, YA, and adult fantasy, with seven published series. When not writing, he works as a developmental editor and literary agent scout for Andrea Hurst & Associates Literary Management, and as a developmental editor for Relay Publishing LLC, The Editorial Department, and on the highly selective editorial site, Reedsy. As a writing teacher, panelist, and workshop leader, he’s presented, among other places, at PNWA, Writing Away workshops with Chuck Sambuchino, the Willamette Writers conference, Rutgers, RWA, Dragon Con, the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, and co-written a featured article for Writers Digest.
