This is a new and exciting opportunity for anyone registered for the 2023 SCBWI Ohio North conference. Andrea Welch, Executive Editor for Beach Lane Books (Simon & Schuster) is making two Zoom critique and submission packages available as raffle prizes to benefit the SCBWI Ohio North Underrepresented Diverse Voices Scholarship fund. This critique and submission opportunity is for fiction and nonfiction picture books.
If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets, you can do so through the Conference Registration site as an add-on. If you’ve already registered for the conference, you can go back to the Registration site and add it to your existing selections.
You can purchase one raffle entry for $10, three raffle entries for $25, or seven raffle entries for $50. Entries will be accepted until conference registration ends.
The winner will be drawn at the end of the conference on Saturday, September 30. The Zoom critiques with Andrea will take place in October – the day and time to be coordinated by SCBWI Ohio North at a time that works for the winners and Andrea.
Thank you for supporting SCBWI Ohio North’s effort to make these meaningful scholarships available.
