In Susan’s fourth exciting adventure she is thrust into the year 2256, inside a hollow asteroid. Alarmingly she finds herself in possession of another crystal. A blue crystal. Where is its Guardian?

She meets children there. They are suspicious of Susan but they must all work together. Danger threatens and it will take all their ingenuity to overcome the sabotage. Susan copes with computers, robots, pirates, and officials. Fortunately there are surprising allies along the way.

Read along with Susan and learn how the habitat was created. Meet the robots who maintain the facility and the one who has gone beyond its programming. This is a picture of me, taken when I was about 10 years old.
That’s about the age when I decided that I wanted to be a writer.
I did a lot of writing over the years, but it was only in my later years that I came to writing children’s adventure novels. I found my true calling at last.

The picture of the stone emphasizes one of my traits which, I feel, is one of the most important skills I have. The exercise of my imagination allows me to think up stories that delight me and my readers and to create the life I want.

"Readers familiar with other books in this series will find Freedom an
outstanding addition that builds upon Susan's evolutionary process and
takes her to the next step. Not only is a whole planet suffering ecological
failure, but other worlds are affected.
There are new types of intelligent beings who are more human than most
people Susan encounters. Fans of the prior series titles are in for a treat
with this latest adventure, which touches on choices, right and wrong, and
the foundations of positive, resourceful thinking".

Donovan's Literary Services.November 2018

"Freedom by G. Rosemary Ludlow is the 4th in this series about Susan Sinclair, a feisty 11 year old whose magic crystals draw her into worlds as varied as New York in the 1860’s, Ancient Egypt, medieval Europe in order to rescue, save, and protect, those in danger.

In this most recent novel Susan finds herself catapulted into the future, where she must deal with SASSY, a robot. Their growing relationship is both humorous and touching. Susan confronts the death of Alvion, the Keeper of the Crystal of the Outer Regions. She struggles to solve the problem that brought Alvion to the future in the first place and then to discover who killed him. Readers with a love of unusual adventures and vibrant characters, and an exciting plot will enjoy this a fascinating story."
