Synopsis
Harper a typically developing seven year old girl, meets a new friend, Emma, one day at the pool that is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They both love to swim at the ppol and want to play together, however Emma has little communication skills. She can make sounds, not words, and flap her hands when she is excited. Harper becomes determined to find a way to communicate with her new friend. She begins to learn about Autism and the different ways Emma can communicate. Once she is able to communicate with her new friend they become inseparable playing in the pool all summer.
