Synopsis
Alligator Slim is tired of singing sad songs and playing the blues down in the swamp. From now on, he's going to play jazz! He packs up his saxophone and heads to the big city where he lands a gig at The Zoo. The crowds love him and everything seems perfect! That is until a certain weasel becomes jealous. He is none too thrilled about Alligator Slim stealing his fans. Since early in elementary school, Samuel E. Pittman II knew he was a writer, and he’s been penning stories and poems and more ever since. A graduate of Somerville High School and Texas A&M University, Samuel teaches middle school language arts and also volunteers his time as a track coach. Along with reading and writing, Samuel enjoys watching sports, playing chess, watching good movies, listening to good music, brewing good tea, and gardening. And one day he may finally take that step into the world of beekeeping!
