Speaker Profile - Elizabeth Steinglass

I live and write in Washington, DC. I have had poetry published in many children's magazines and anthologies, including The Poetry Friday Anthology for Celebrations and The Poetry of US. My first collection, SOCCERVERSE: POEMS ABOUT SOCCER, includes 22 poems about every aspect of the game using 13 different forms which are described in an end note. Poetry can be delicious to everyone! In this interactive session, we'll talk about why poetry is for everyone, and we'll read and discuss some poems from my collection SOCCERVERSE. For workshop-sized groups, we can write a poem together. I can also do shorter skype sessions without the writing component.
