Bio:
Australian author and motivational speaker, Jenny Woolsey, writes stories and blogs on the theme, Be Weirdly Wonderful! Embrace your difference. She has been an educator for 30 years and is a strong advocate for people living with facial differences, mental illness, Down syndrome, inclusive education and disability equality.

Jenny’s writing is influenced by her life. She was born with a rare craniofacial syndrome, has anxiety and depression, and a visual impairment requiring a white cane. Her three children also have disabilities. Jenny is passionate about anti-bullying, and equipping children with a strong sense of self, to know they are perfect the way they are... and if they are called weird, that's wonderful, because they can use that uniqueness to go on and achieve great things!

Jenny's published novels are: Ride High Pineapple, Brockwell the Brave, Land of Britannica, Daniel Barker: By Power or Blight, Amy and Phoenix. She also has short stories published in Mater Hospital 100 Stories, Redemption, Like a Woman, From the Edge, What an Adventure! anthologies. All Jenny's stories have characters that are different in some way and include other social issues.
