“Bringing the Past to Life—One Adventure at a Time,” epitomizes the passion and writing career of Marie Sontag. Her newest release, Underground Scouts (Jan. 2023). furthers her tradition of crafting adventurous historical novels for middle-grade and young adult readers. Having taught middle school for over fifteen years, she knows what and how to per students' interests. Dr. Sontag holds a BA in social science and an MA and Ph.D. in education. She currently resides in TX and, when not writing,  can be found romping with her grandson playing superheroes and making movies, or with her granddaughter playing princesses.
