Miranda Paul is passionate about creating picture books for young readers that inspire, entertain, and broaden horizons. Her first two titles, One Plastic Bag (Lerner/Millbrook) and Water is Water (Macmillan/Neal Porter Books) were named Junior Library Guild Selections and received starred reviews. She is also the author of Whose Hands Are These?, Trainbots, 10 Little Ninjas, Blobfish Throws A Party, Are We Pears Yet? and The Great Pasta Escape. Her titles have been included on several state lists, and other accolades include an ALA Notable Book, Charlotte Zolotow Highly Commended Title, and Best of the Year titles by Booklist, SLJ, and Huffington Post. Upcoming books include Mia Moves Out (Knopf, 2018) and Nine Months (Neal Porter Books, 2019). Her forthcoming titles Adventures to School (June 2018) and I Am Farmer (Feb 2019) are co-authored with her husband, Baptiste Paul. Miranda Paul is the award-winning author of five picture books, with several forthcoming in 2017-2018. She has served as an English teacher in the U.S. and abroad (Gambia, West Africa), and has a range of presentations available for schools or for writers' conferences.
