SCBWI proudly announces the winners and honor recipients of the 2025 Crystal Kite Awards, recognizing outstanding books created by SCBWI members across fifteen international regions. Unique among literary honors, the Crystal Kite Awards are peer-voted, making them a meaningful accolade within the children’s book community.
Each winning title showcases exceptional storytelling, imaginative illustration, and creative excellence, representing the very best of children’s literature produced by SCBWI members around the world.
“These awards are especially meaningful because they’re chosen by fellow creators—people who truly understand the heart and craft of making children’s books,” said Sarah Baker, Executive Director of SCBWI. “The Crystal Kite Awards spotlight the incredible talent in our community and the powerful stories that inspire young readers globally.”
A full list of winning books is available on the SCBWI Bookshop page.
