Old Mr Bannerjee has arms and legs as thin as sticks. Old Mr Bannerjee lives all alone (except for his cat and his twenty-seven television sets) in a house that is older than he is. Then, one day, Rick arrives. Rick has chipped front teeth, an earring, a ponytail, and tattoos on his arms and he rides a motorbike. Rick decides to move in and even though he and Mr Bannerjee fight a lot, they become good friends. Then the townspeople decide that it is time for Old Mr Bannerjee to be taken away to the hospital.
