When Pigs Fly

I thought that expanding the concept of a flying pig to a menagerie of other animals would be fun for pre-schoolers and kindergartners. And as every parent knows, that age group shares a keen appreciation for silly characters and situations. So if a flying pig can be funny, then a snake that bakes cupcakes, or an ape lifting weights can be too.I also sought to provide parents and guardians with a clever way to reinforce a few core, early learning skills, specifically shapes, colors, and numers. So included on every full-page illustration are smaller images that are cues to further engage those wonderful, developing minds.
