Marianas Island Legends is an anthology of stories, poems, and oral histories contributed by people of all ages living on Guam or the Northern Marianas Islands (Saipan, Rota or Tinian).  The culture and history of these Pacific Islands of the area of Micronesia is celebrated in re-tellings of traditional legends of the Chamorro and Carolinian people (Rafalawasch and Rapaganor). Writings also include descriptions of contemporary arts such as weaving, customs, beliefs and true stories of traditional sailing.
