The town of Rainbow Springs is in crisis. Their gold mines have produced more gold dust than the creatures in the area can handle. Something must be done. A town meeting is called and a decision is made to haul the dust out of the magical land and into the mortal world. Blue is a fairy chosen to make the flight through the mortal portal. Blue gets sidetracked along the way. She comes across a band of lightening bugs who need her help. Making an effort to stick to the fairy code and always help a creature in need, Blue creates a new set of problems of her own.
