Rose O’Neill (1874-1944) inventor of the comic strip, creator of Kewpie comics, and Kewpie Doll the first globally disturbed toy. The story of her beginnings in Pennsylvania and many moves to  arrive in Omaha, Nebraska where she entered her art work in a state competition and won at age 13. Her climb to become the highest paid illustrator in New York City in the early 1900. O’Neill was one of the first women millionaires in America from her own hard work.
