Which is worse, believing your mother is dead, or finding out that she is alive and that you must kill her to save yourself? Lani Morgan is almost 16 when her dying father tells her that her mother didn’t die in a car crash ten years earlier. Before her birthday, Lani must track down and kill her werewolf mother, or she herself will inherit the family curse. First, she has to find her mother, with the help of a woman who claims to be Lani’s long-lost aunt.
