Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish (Сказка о Рываке и Рывке)

A fisherman catches a magical fish who wants to be thrown back. The fish promises that if the fisherman throws her back she will grant him wishes. While the fisherman is happy to throw the fish back without any "ransom", his wife has other ideas. Her wishes grow in grandiosity as she becomes unsatisfied with each one and wants more. The story is a Russian classic by a beloved author, a moral story about greed.
