The House at the End of the Road

While exploring on their summer vacation, three kids discover a spooky old house that they assume is abandoned. After one of the kids throws a rock at a window, a "ghost" appears behind the glass. The kids flee in terror. They later learn from their grandmother that an old, old man lives in the house. The children's initial trepidation turns into a lasting intergenerational friendship with their senior neighbor.
