Rise of the Shadow Dragons

Rise of the Shadow Dragonstakes place ten years after Legends of the Sky: Dragon Daughter, and the main character is Jowan Thornsen, Milla’s cousin, whom you may have spotted in the final pages of Dragon Daughter. The story starts on Joe’s twelfth birthday, which also happens to be Hatching Day. Joe goes along to the Hatching Ceremony, full of hope and excitement. All the young people in his family have bonded with a dragon. Will today be his turn? Meanwhile the island of Arcosi faces new threats, from near and far, and Joe’s courage will be tested more than he ever imagined.
