Jackal Buzzard lives on top of Table Mountain when the wind makes it nearly impossible for him to fly and gather food. One very hungry day, Jackal devises a plan to convince the animals on the mountain to dance with him offering them a free ride on his backup get away from the dusty wind. What quicker way to get a meal, so he thinks, not realizing that observant Cousin Monkey has watched his every move. What happens next surprises Jackal Buzzard and the reader with a heartfelt lesson woven into the lyrical prose.
