The Emerald Forest

Follow the story of Orangutan and her young as they seek safety in the rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia after their home is cut down. A narrative nonfiction picture book exploring the extraordinary relationship between a mother orangutan and her young as they are rehomed in the Thirty Hills. Based on an active conservation project being led by WWF, The Fraunkfurt Zoological Society and The Orangutan Project, this story will give children hope for the future as well as giving ideas in a factual end page of how we can all play our part in protecting orangutans and the rainforests.
