Violympics by Chris Fish

Violympics is an anthology of fun and engaging pieces for developing violinists. Most pieces are in 1st position, but later pieces use shifts as integral elements of the music, encouraging players to develop skills within pieces they will really enjoy.The music is in a range of styles with an emphasis on more popular and jazzy genres. You will find arrangements such as William Tell's All as well as original pieces like Working the Night Shift.Chris Fish is a music teacher and composer and this book began life during the 2019 lockdown as a series of pieces for his daughters to play whilst at home. They enjoyed them, and hopefully you will too!
