Alex Hollow and the Monsters of Morningside

Alex Hollow wants nothing more than to meet the monster he glimpses through the portal in his backyard. However, everything in his world, from Mom and Dad's rules to his first grade teacher's behavior charts, conspires to prevent his adventure. The best thing about first grade, though, is Alex's new friend Linden Lighthouse. Together Alex and Linden break rules, discover magical tools and fight ghouls. But when the perils of the other world follow them home, Alex and Linden need more than mystical instruments and monstrous allies. They must dig deep and find their own inner magic.
