The Alligator Waiter

When a boy goes out to dinner with his parents and sees that their waiter is an alligator, he tries to warn the other diners, but discovers that his mother and father are the only other people who can see the alligator waiter. After the alligator confesses he's drawn to their family because he misses his own, the boy and his parents take the alligator home as their pet. Illustrated by multi talented artist Stan Stroh.
