Pitches will take place live via Zoom on Sunday 9/10/23 (your specific 10-minute pitch time slot for that day will be emailed to you approximately two weeks prior to the Pitchfest).
Written critiques will be handed out at the end of Saturday’s 9/19/23 event (no-in-person meeting).

Cost-$55: Written Critique w/Melissa Manlove, Exec Editor/Chronicle Books (no in-person meeting; critique will be handed out at the end of the 9/9/23 in-person event)
Cancellations prior to August 20 will receive a refund minus a $25 handling fee with the exception of refunds on critiques—no refunds on critiques (including registration) after August 1.
No refunds will be issued after August 20.
Out of courtesy to the Agent or Editor, if you miss your Pitchfest time there will be no refund and no makeup date. Similarly, if you miss your manuscript submission deadline for a written critique, there will be no refund or extended deadline.

August 1 - Postmark deadline to mail in Critique Manuscript Submissions (emailed submissions will not be accepted)
August 1 - Deadline to cancel if you purchased a live pitch or a written critique
August 5 - Deadline to email Writing Contest entries
August 20 - Refund Cancellation Deadline (Note: a $25 cancellation processing fee will be applied to all refunds)
After August 20 - No refunds will be issued
