SORRY, THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED
Five scholarships for the Fall Harvest conference 2024 were available for:
- writers and/or illustrators whose finances prevent them from attending our conference AND
- they’re from underserved communities, including but not limited to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities AND
- they live in our regional area: Long Beach, Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County AND
- they follow our region on the website (Member Home, Edit My Profile, Manage My Regions, California: SoCal). You don't have to be a paying member to apply.
Entries were due August 10th, 10:00 PM. Winners will be notified by August 15th.
Scholarship awards are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Submission guidelines:
- Complete this form with the following information:
- Your name, email, and contact phone number
- Whether you are an SCBWI member (need not be to enter)
- Statement of intent (how would winning this scholarship help you put forward an underrepresented voice?)
- Winners will be notified by August 15th. Scholarship awards are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
