FIRST LOOKS

What is it?

First Look sessions are a free, optional (but exclusive) opportunity to meet with top faculty in a small group setting and watch as they review opening pages, portfolios, or queries in real time. These sessions are designed as both a learning experience and a networking opportunity. Hear what immediately stands out to agents/editors/art directors, and how industry professionals evaluate projects.

How much does it cost?

First Look sessions are free, but availability is limited and registration is required. These sessions are NOT recorded and are not open to general attendance.

When is it?

These sessions take place during the conference day, Saturday. Please make sure you check the SCHEDULE. If it conflicts with another presentation you want to attend, we recommend purchasing the recordings pass.
