Frequently Asked Questions

All attendees will receive access to recordings of all of our programming for unlimited viewings for 30 days after the event. So if you have to miss, need to take a break, or want to review anything covered during the conference, you'll have all the time to do so.

From anywhere on the SCBWI website, go to 'Member Home' in the top right corner, then select 'My Events' from across the top of the page. Scroll down to find your selections and click Meeting Info for more details.

On Friday, October 2nd, at 7 PM CDT, you're invited to join RA Emeritus Alice McGinty for a Friday Night Gathering. Alice shares her knowledge of conferences, both in-person and online, along with a huge dose of community and fun. This gathering is for new members, first time conference attendees, or anyone looking to hang out with a great bunch of people.

On Saturday, October 3rd, we have optional One-on-One critiques taking place from 9 AM CDT - 5 PM CDT. You can register for a critique on the Event Main Page. Then at 7 PM CDT, you're invited to join Narratives in Bloom, presented by Illinois Lit Live. Bring a mug of hot cocoa or a glass of wine, get cozy in your favorite chair or pajamas, and enjoy an hour of community as six incredible authors share excerpts of their recently published or soon to be published works.

If you choose to support community access, you're contributing towards a scholarship to one of our events for creators from diverse backgrounds or with significant financial need. Our Spring Thaw Event offered access for three members to attend Fall Harvest!
