Esther Hershenhorn considers herself lucky to reside in the Children’s Book World, writing children’s books, teaching Writing for Children workshops at Chicago’s Newberry Library and the University of Chicago’s Graham School of Continuing Education, coaching writers to help them ready their stories for Young Readers and advocating for children’s book creators as SCBWI-Illinois’ Regional Advisor Emerita and former Board member.
