ONLINE AUTHORS: Submit four (4) pages in one multi-page pdf

—Page 1: Identifying information, plus three (3) loglines or pitches (each may include 1-3 sentences, check out our Pitch Resources for more information)

—Pages 2-4: Up to 250 words from the corresponding works-in-progress

OPTIONAL FOR AUTHOR / ILLUSTRATORS ONLY:

—You may include a partial dummy of the first 250 words to accompany the manuscript, but the focus will be on the words, not illustrations.

—You are not required to include illustrations if you don't want to or don't have any

 Digital formatting requirements for your single document is as follows:

—Save document as a pdf

—Please format your pages as follows:

——8.5 by 11 inches, 1-inch margins,

——12-point standard font, double spaced

—Your identifying information (name & e-mail) must be at the top of Page 1. Optional: you may add a link to your professional website

—Note any trigger warnings on first page

—Page 2-4: up to 250 words from the corresponding works-in-progress, each on their own page.

—This completes your 4-page Pitch Package.

—Name your file using the following format: LAST_First.pdf.

For picture books, you may reduce your spacing to 1.5. We suggest avoiding line breaks when possible and limiting art notes. Art notes do not count towards your total.

If your 250 words go onto a second page, this is okay, but please try to suggestions above first.

ONLINE FOR ILLUSTRATORS: Submit 4 pages, including 3 jpegs into one multi-page document

—Pages 2-4: Finished illustration jpeg on each page; Up to 3 jpegs permitted

 Digital formatting requirements for your single document is as follows:

—Save image as JPG at 96dpi with the longest dimension (vertically or horizontally) being 1500 pixels maximum.

—Please format each illustration as a jpeg.

—Your identifying information (name & e-mail) must be at the top of Page 1. Optional: you may add a link to your professional website

—Page 2-4: Finished illustration jpeg on each page; Up to 3 jpegs permitted.

—This completes your 4-page Pitch Package.

—Name your file using the following format: LAST_First.pdf.

IN-PERSON AUTHORS: 

Formatting Requirements:

—Bring eight (8) copies of your logline and corresponding first 250 words

—no title page is necessary

—bring copies of your three (3) illustrations
