Jackie Kruzie’s love of books began in elementary school at her annual Young Author’s Conference, where creating stories and meeting real authors sparked a lifelong passion for reading and writing. After earning a master’s degree in library science, she championed literacy in school and public libraries while building her publishing career through SCBWI, indie publishing, and literary agency work. Jackie is the author of The Lousy Layup (Capstone Publishing), a former acquisitions editor, and now a literary agent at Focused Artists. She has taught writing and literacy workshops nationwide and represents children’s and adult fiction across multiple genres.
