A FREE online social for SCBWI Members hosted by MD/DE/WV Regional Advisor Mirka Hokkanen. Geared mostly for illustrators, but authors welcome to jump in too. Hop on zoom to build community with fellow kidlit creators. Ask questions, share wins, ask for feedback on a piece you are working on. These sessions will not be recorded.

Mirka Hokkanen
is the Illustrator Coordinator for MD/DE/WV region of SCBWI. She is a neurodivergent published author and illustrator of picture books and graphic novels. Mirka is represented by Laurel Symonds at the KT Literary. In addition to being a mom of three and a military spouse, Mirka teaches on Skillshare, works as a printmaker, and if she ever has free time, she likes to hike outdoors, knit, and do all sorts of crafty things.
