Diane Worthey is an award-winning author of traditionally published books for kids with classical music themes. She is a classically trained violinist and performs with the Washington- Idaho Symphony. Diane also teaches budding musicians in her Pullman, Washington, studio. When she’s not writing or making music, she can often be found with a good book, an oat milk latte, and a cat curled up in her lap. Her third book, The Sound Museum: All About Classical Music will be released on September 15, 2026. An interactive book, it features over 300 sound bites of classical music.
Wyoming native Guy Worthey traded spurs and lassos for telescopes and computers when he decided on astrophysics for a day job. Whenever he temporarily escapes the gravitational pull of stars and galaxies, he writes fiction. He lives in Washington state with his violinist wife Diane. He likes cats and dogs and plays keyboards and bass guitar. His favorite food is called creamed eggs on toast, but once in a while he heeds the siren song of chocolate.
