Writing for Children 101 Online Class with RAE Patricia Morris Buckley

This class takes you from idea to a polished manuscript and covers plotting, dialogue and characters, as well as finding agent or publisher. It meets the next Saturday after our chapter meeting, October through April from 12 to 2 p.m. via Zoom. 2025-2026 Class dates: October 25, November 15, December 13, February 28, Marcy 21, April 18. Cost is $60 for members, $90 for nonmembers. The class is online and is recorded so participants have the opportunity to watch or rewatch the class online. Includes two free critiques. RAE Patricia Morris Buckley

Patricia Morris Buckley is a member of the Mohawk Nation, and author of "The First Woman Cherokee Chief: Wilma Pearl Mankiller" and "To Walk the Sky." She has been writing professionally for more than thirty years, first as a journalist and then for children. She is an elementary school librarian, SCBWI regional advisor, emeritus, avid reader, writing teacher, and mom.
