Journey into lyrical nonfiction with Cedar Pruitt in this webinar about weaving poetry about true stories into picture books. There are a million untold stories out there. How do you find them? And then what do you do with that precious scrap of news story or note in a school curriculum? In this webinar, author Cedar Pruitt will share her lyrical nonfiction books and the process of creating them, as well as the power of the original source photograph, which she worked to include in her books. You will leave with a deeper understanding about how to uncover the bigger themes in the untold stories – the universal stories that humans never tire of telling. This event will be recorded, and a replay will be available for 30 days after the live event.
