Ann Arbor Shop Talk

Bring one page of work and come prepared to give and receive kind and helpful feedback.

You might bring:

The first 200 or so words of a picture book

OR

The first page of a longer work

OR

Illustrators, you decide what amount of art is equivalent

OR

One page of marketing material (query, synopsis, jacket or Amazon copy, etc)

OR

You can choose to not share work, and still listen and share feedback.

 We will start with everyone introducing themselves in one sentence and will spend the rest of our time hearing and discussing people’s work. No pre-reading is required; each page will be read aloud during our meeting.
