We are offering a contest focusing on the theme: Spring Renewal
Writers can submit a written story. Illustrators can submit one or more images. Judges will choose one winner in each category: written and illustrations. The winners will receive a free critique or portfolio review by Susie Ghahremani.
Writers - Deadline extended to March 1, 10:00 PM
- Write a 500 word picture book story or graphic novel text focused on the concept: SPRING RENEWAL
- 500 word limit (word count does not include the title or art descriptions, but text only)
- Double spaced, 12 pt Times Roman
- Provide your name, email, title, numbered pages in the form when submitting
- File name should include LastName_TitleOfSubmission.pdf
- Included in registration fee
- You must be registered to enter.
- One entry per person.
- To enter, complete this Google Form.
Illustrators - Deadline extended to March 1, 10:00 PM
- Create a one-image/page to three-image/page illustration telling a story on the concept: SPRING RENEWAL. (includes graphic novels)
- Submit as .pdf (a multi-page .pdf if more than one image)
- Content should be picturebook to middle grade age appropriate
- Provide your name, email, title, numbered pages in the form when submitting
- File name should include LastName_TitleOfSubmission.pdf
- Included in registration fee
- You must be registered to enter.
- One entry per person.
