Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarships - Due Feb. 23, 10:00 PM
Two scholarship spots to the SCBWI SoCal Art Day event are offered for writers and/or illustrators whose finances prevent them from attending our conference AND they’re from underserved communities, including but not limited to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
Submission guidelines:
- Please include your name, email, and contact phone number in the form
- You need not be an SCBWI member to enter
- Please provide a statement of intent (how would winning this scholarship help you put forward an underrepresented voice?)
- You must include a one page writing sample or illustration sample
- Winners will be notified by March 1st
- Scholarship awards are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash
