Maria is opening a 30‑day submission window after the webinar. She’s mainly looking for original picture book manuscripts, but she’s happy to consider translated PB manuscripts in English as well.

María Camila Correa, editor and translator at Random House Studio

MARIA CAMILA CORREA is an editor at Random House Studio. Her list is focused on picture books that spark curiosity and wonder, that urge readers to question and reimagine the world around them, and that reflect the multiplicity of thought of diverse creators while speaking to universal truths. Born in Medellín, Colombia, María is fluent in Spanish and is also a translator, as well as the author of SELENA: A LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK BIOGRAPHY and BOB ROSS: A LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK BIOGRAPHY, among other titles. Before joining Random House in 2020, she worked at Little Tiger Press in London and is a graduate of the University of Glasgow’s MEd program in Children’s Literature and Literacies.
