Caitlin Tutterow, Nancy Paulsen Books

Bio

Caitlin Tutterow (she/her) is an editor at Nancy Paulsen Books and worked at Putnam Young Readers before joining the Paulsen team in 2021. She’s looking for children’s books for kids of all ages but is especially interested in acquiring novels where the lyrical meets the fantastical and stories told from strong, driven, vulnerable voices that you feel in your chest, whether that be from laughing, crying, or because you are holding your breath. Hailing from North Carolina, she’s a Southerner at heart and holds degrees in English and Biology from Duke University.

Critique Categories

PB Dummy Reviews, fiction and nonfiction PB, fiction MG, fiction YA*, novels in verse.

Caitlin is not a good fit for Graphic Novels, nonfiction novels, chapter books or early readers.

*Caitlin tells us her imprint is in the process of realigning to acquire mostly picture books and middle grade, so it’s only a very select YA that she would personally acquire moving forward.
