Karina Granda (she/her) is an Art Director at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. She works across a range of formats which include Picture Books, Middle Grade, Young Adult, and Graphic Novels. She has designed and art directed many award-winning and bestselling books including THE PROUDEST BLUE, THE MAGIC MISFITS series, THE DOOR OF NO RETURN, STAMPED and STAMPED (FOR KIDS), THE INHERITANCE GAMES series, the FOLKS OF THE AIR series, INTERNMENT, and the LOVE & GELATO series. In terms of acquiring—what she mostly commissions directly is Middle Grade, YA, and New Adult covers of all types; black-and-white Middle Grade interior art; and maps, patterns, character art and all sorts of “extras" for YA and New Adult books.
