Creating Impactful Pages: A Study of Composition

Join illustrator Sandhya Prabhat for this special session we have planned for creating impactful pages! Participants will learn how to manipulate imagery on a page to draw the reader's eyes where required, to exploit the power of composition in order to tell a compelling story in the best possible way, and to use light, shadow, color, page layout, text placement, size, shape, and other such tools to get the most out of a page.

Attendees will walk away with a broader understanding of composition and the ability to use it while thumbnailing illustrations. They will also have a better understanding of how page design can impact storytelling.

Attendees should bring a notepad/sketch pad and art supplies to participate in some interactive exercises on how to apply some of the techniques that will be discussed in the session.

All creatives are encouraged to participate in this wonderful craft session; it is not only for illustrators. Join us!events.
