Deep Dive on Discoverability for Illustrators

Nov 05, 2026

Online event

Are you an already-published illustrator looking to get more work or trying to get more eyes on your illustrations? Join us for a conversation with Brian LaRossa, Véronique Lefèvre Sweet, and Doan Buu about how to best be discovered as an illustrator in the current market.

Got a book under your belt and not sure what comes next, or are you still trying to find the best way to promote your illustrations in a saturated market?

Standing out right now as a children’s book illustrator takes more than just feeding art into the algorithm and hoping for the best. That’s why this webinar will be exploring everything from navigating new online hubs and traditional offline promos, to getting insight on what art directors look for when scouting both fresh and published talent. Expect a practical conversation on how to cut through the digital noise, refine your strategy, and make your work stand out where it actually counts.

  • New platforms to try out
  • Old platforms that are still going strong
  • Alternative strategies off-platforms beyond the online overwhelm
