Alex is a Latine writer and editor originally from Mexico City and currently based in Brooklyn. She works as an editor at Holiday House, where she oversees the Holiday House Spanish language publishing program while also acquiring YA and MG fiction and graphic novels for Holiday House’s English language list.
Linda Camacho a senior agent at Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency. She's held various positions at Penguin Random House, Simon and Schuster, and Prospect Agency. She's seeking MG, YA, graphic novel writer-illustrators, and adult fiction (especially upmarket, women’s fiction/romance, and literary horror); open to select picture book writer-illustrators.
Marie Lamba is a Senior Literary Agent at the Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency (jdlit.com), where she represents fiction and non-fiction picture books, middle grade, YA and adult works, plus graphic novels and memoir. Across the genres, she’s on the hunt for works that are moving, original and funny, and she’d love to find a fresh rom-com or a witty romantasy work. She also seeks engrossing memoirs, as well as non-fiction works that are eye-opening from authors with a strong platform. Marie is also author of the picture books Green Green: A Community Gardening Story (Farrar Straus Giroux), and A Day So Gray (Clarion), and of the young adult novels What I Meant… (Random House), Over My Head, and Drawn. Her articles are in more than 100 publications, and she’s a frequent contributor to Writer’s Digest. She has worked as an editor, an award-winning public relations writer, and a book publicist, and has taught classes on novel writing and on author promotion. Brian LaRossa (he/him) is an executive art director in the children’s book group at Scholastic Inc. After hours, he teaches typography at Pratt Institute and design criticism at The City College of New York. His critical essays have appeared in publications such as Design Observer and AIGA’s Eye on Design. He also volunteers for We Need Diverse Books, manages his own display font foundry—which developed a typeface for Google Fonts—and writes fiction. Brian’s writing is represented by Liz Nealon, founder of Great Dog Literary. His illustration and design work has received awards from the Type Directors Club, the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, PRINT magazine, and his conceptual poetry is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. He lives and works in New York City.
Krista Marino is the VP & Associate Publisher of Delacorte Press (Random House Children's Books) where she works alongside Wendy Loggia, VP & Publisher, to publish bestselling, critically acclaimed, kid-friendly young adult and middle grade fiction. Among her list are bestselling series, like the Maze Runner; literary gems, like Kathleen Glasgow’s Girl in Pieces; genre-bending classics, like Rory Power’s Wilder Girls; trendsetters, like Karen M. McManus’s One of Us Is Lying; and masterful works of worldbuilding fantasy, like Amélie Wen Zhao’s Song of Silver, Flame like Night.
Jennifer Unter is the founder of The Unter Agency, LLC a full-service boutique agency specializing in quality fiction, nonfiction and all types of children’s literature. She has worked in many aspects of the publishing industry from editorial at Henry Holt, to a copyright lawyer at an entertainment firm. In addition to placing projects at domestic and foreign publishers, she also sells to audio, film and television. She is a member of AALA, Women’s Media Group, and the West Side Agents Group.
Irene Vázquez is an Editor at Levine Querido, a children's book publisher dedicated to amplifying diverse voices. With a Bachelor's degree in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and English from Yale University, Irene brings a unique perspective to their editorial work. They have worked on critically acclaimed titles such as Mani Semilla Finds Her Quetzal Voice by Anna Lapera as well as national bestsellers like Victoria Zeller’s One of the Boys. Irene also champions debut authors, including D.J. Rosenblum Becomes the G.O.A.T., a Sydney Taylor award winner. Originally from Texas, they play a pivotal role in Levine Querido's Spanish language imprint, Ediciones LQ. Beyond their editorial work, Irene is a poet, journalist, and translator. They live in New York City. When not in the world of books, Irene likes drinking coffee and watching the WNBA.
Rebecca Williamson is passionate about all children's books, from picture books through young adult. She is an Assistant Agent/Foreign Rights Manager at Sheldon Fogelman Agency. Previously, she interned with St. Martin's Publishing Group and Triada US Literary Agency. Rebecca also attended the Columbia Publishing Course and graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
Catherine Laudone is a senior editor at Beach Lane Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. She primarily acquires and edits picture books and middle grade titles (both fiction and nonfiction) with a special interest in underrepresented voices and stories featuring neurodivergent and disabled main characters. She’s also open to select middle grade graphic novels. Catherine has her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is a published children’s book author. Her co-authored picture book debut SHE KEPT DANCING: THE TRUE STORY OF A PROFESSIONAL DANCER WITH A LIMB DIFFERENCE is an NCSS Notable Social Studies Trade Book Award winner, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection, and a WLA Towner Award nominee. Her co-authored middle grade debut, GOALBALL DREAMERS, will be published in Fall 2027. Catherine currently serves as an editor advisor for The Writing Barn’s The Verge program and an advanced PB workshop leader for Inked Voices. When not editing or writing, she enjoys baking, traveling, and playing with her cat.
