Admission to Philbrook:

Program:

Optional: Lunch together at the museum restaurant Wildflower Cafe at 11:30 AM for those who care to join us. (Current menu, subject to change:  (Wildflower Menu)

Meet in the Lobby at 12:30 for introductions & an assignment – should you care to accept it. We’ll have assignments for illustrators and writers, but you’re also free to simply soak up the art or the gardens. We’ll wander in groups or solo, per your inclination, to explore the museum.

At 2:30 we’ll meet back together in the gardens (I'll have a sign, look for me), to discuss what inspired us and share our writing and/or sketches if you like. 

A mini lesson & discussion about adding sensory details to your work will follow. Then, all who are interested will explore the gardens together, soaking up the sensory details for further inspiration and fellowship. Others may choose additional time in the museum.

At 4:00 PM we'll hit the road to return home.
