Free Draw Along Christmas Special with Seán Casey

Presented by Rekha Salin Join writer–illustrator Seán Casey for a Christmas Draw-Along session! Sean will guide you step-by-step as you learn to draw Gingerbread Drag Queens inspired by the main characters of his debut picture book The Sleigh Queens Save Christmas. Go wild with colour! Use brown or orange paper, or keep it simple with plain paper. Add glitter glue, paint pens, markers, fabric scraps, or anything else you can find. Use whatever you like to glam up your Gingerbread Man! We'll be drawing and chatting with Seán about his book, so wear your most splendid Christmas jumper, bring a glass of mulled wine (or two), and join us for this special Christmas event! Seán Casey is an illustrator and author living in Scotland, originally from Connemara, Ireland. He trained as a Classical 2D Animator and later specialised in character design and storytelling. Seán runs community-based art sessions. He works with all age groups and mostly within marginalised communities teaching a variety of arts and crafts, drawing, digital painting and art stop-motion animation. His debut picture book, The Sleigh Queens Save Christmas (Sweet Cherry Publishing), is available now.
