Inspired by her first teacher at a refugee camp, Hanh Bui pursued a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and became a teacher. She is the author of The Yellow Áo Dài, Ánh’s New Word, and a forthcoming book I Stand In Line. She serves as co-chair of Equity and Inclusion Team for the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic region and participates in the Reading Is Fundamental of Northern Virginia Authors in Our Schools program.
Kerisa Greene is the author-illustrator of I Am Both (Feiwel & Friends, 2024) and Legendary Cakes (Feiwel & Friends, 2025). She has also illustrated for publications such as The Imposter by Laura Bower (Gnome Road, 2024) and Ladybug Magazine (Cricket Media, 2023). Kerisa is a first-generation Vietnamese American who has moved from the sandy shores of the West Coast to the sunny beaches of Florida with her family, where goats and tortoises now surround them.
Hà Dinh wanted to be an author from the moment she first held a book in her hands. In addition to her writing, she is the founder of the Happy Days in First Grade teaching blog and is an educator. Hà hopes to inspire children to share their own stories and make a positive impact on the world. She lives with her husband and children in Texas. | @hellomrsdinh
Angela Pham Krans is the award-winning author of Finding Papa, which received ALA’s Asian/Pacific American Honor Award for Literature. Her other titles include Words Between Us and Another Word for Neighbor (HarperCollins). Angela enjoys writing humorous and heartfelt stories that highlight relationships between family, friends, and community. When Angela isn’t writing, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with family. Angela lives in Atlanta with her husband, Hamilton, and their rambunctious dog, Archer.
